Senior PHP Laravel Developer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Laravel Developer with exceptional problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of PHP, Laravel, and scalable backend systems. This is not just a developer role — we’re looking for a leader, a decision-maker, and a solution-provider who can tackle technical risks head-on and guide the team toward excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance Laravel applications
- Lead complex backend architecture and provide scalable solutions
- Handle high-pressure situations, debug critical issues, and ensure system security and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for planning and deployment
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices
- Propose innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability across all platforms
- Participate in product planning, technical discussions, and strategic decisions
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel (v8+) and PHP
- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and design patterns
- Deep knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and query optimization
- Experience with Git, version control workflows, CI/CD
- Experience with queues, jobs, events, and Laravel ecosystem (Horizon, Passport, Nova, etc.)
- Familiarity with Vue.js, React, or any modern JS frameworks is a plus
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of security best practices in web development
- Ability to lead a team, conduct code reviews, and make architecture decisions
- Excellent communication skills and solution-oriented mindset
